Well what can I say, I am very happy to be anchoring the Beat 103 ship which has been entertaining the people of Lancashire for over 5 years.  Beat 103 has seen massive changes in the past 5 years including new studio premises, presenters, with some still here after all this time! We have some more fantastic plans on the way in the next 9 months with further additions on the media platform as soon as I know I will, of course, let all of our loyal listeners in on the secret! She also presents a podcast series raising awareness for mental health online, promotes events, runs a non-profit record label Chemical Flaw Records which raises funding for music and sound therapy workshops for mental health service users, Finally, she also produces and presents an underground electronic music radio show on internet radio weekly.

Mench & DJ Quickdraw are artists and presenters who have been in the business for over 25 years. They have had residencies in various clubs across the UK. Their show is all about pushing homegrown talent and new music, with some added fun, and something a little different to Beat Radio.

Johnny Bee has been a DJ for over 25 years, all started with doing a birthday party for a friend, which followed working in on Stanley Street at the tender age of 15! Johnny got his first gig and that was a resident gig weekly. Going down to work in more clubs and also working in other various towns up and down the UK. Back in 2007, Johnny ended up moving to Tenerife and spending two years over there DJing with some massive well-named DJs. Johnny Bee has also been doing radio for as long as he can remember, working on a number of radio stations up and down the UK one in Spain and also one in Australia. He also works at Yate's Wine Lodge in Preston City Centre

Richard has been presenting radio shows since September 1980. For Radio Hallam in Sheffield, Red Rose Radio in Preston, Jazz FM, Smooth Radio and more recently BBC local radio in Manchester and Stoke. An avid collector of Northern Soul and Modern sounds, Richard now organises soul Weekenders such as the Blackpool Luxury Soul event, the Blackpool International Soul Festival at the Winter Gardens and the Blackpool Tower Northern Soul Weekenders. Richard was awarded the BEM medal in the Queen's honours list in June 2019 for his services to soul music over the years.
